Finally had a moment to head out on our 2014 shakedown trip. Went 2 1/2 hrs away to Watkins Glen (KOA), for the Smokin'Summer Wine Tour on Seneca Lake. We toured friday after noon and all day saturday. Excellant tour, with many solid wines! Ended out weekend at Zugibe, which was wonderuful, wine; braised beef; and band performing on a beautiful night!!

Figure out how to do this once again. Making lists of what we forgot, and what we need. Our challenge now it to prepare for a 2-3 week trip to the UP of Michigan (need warm and cold clothes). Then load up for a 5 week trip myself to Chautauqua Institute.

Here is hoping you have a Wonderful time on your journeys! You sound like the kind of person that can have fun what ever you do.

If you've not been to the UP before, if you have time head up the Keweenah Peninsula to Copper Harbor. Great activities and a marvelous state park (Fort Wilkins) with living history. Painted Rocks are pretty neat also. You will have a fantastic time!
