We have a 2023 Ram as well. Bought it brand new. The puck system is the Mopar one. We were pulling a 28' flatbed with it made it 300 miles and all the sudden it came off the ball and slammed into the floor of the truck the toolbox and tailgate. I do want to add we are not young puppies that have never pulled before. Owning a ranch and roofing businesses pulling trailers is a daily thing. This has never happened in 40 plus years of towing. Two months later pulling a horse trailer with steers in it, had a blow out on the right front tire of the truck doing 75. The truck went off the road and the trailer came off the ball and crushed the driver's side of the bed. Caused major damage to the trailer. Luckily we along with the steers were not injured. I have been extremely curious with two trailers coming off the same ball. We took it in and had a flat bed put on it after that. However, the guys at the shop told us they do not trust those puck systems. Now for sure they don't! I just wonder if anyone else has had issues with this type of thing.
