If this is a new unit everything you mentioned is already covered by a mfg warrenty. Like I have already said, put the two grand or however much there trying to soak you for it into a special savings account.

This is not a motorcoach. It is a travel trailer and I am concerned about pumps, electric motors, appliances, AC, refrigerator, awning, inverter, etc.

Should you opt to buy one...the biggest reason by far that Extended Warranty companies use to decline a claim, is lack of oil changes by approved shops. ie: not you doing one. the quickie lube places are acceptable as are dealer shops. You can do them all you like if you prefer that, but you need to have it done by a shop, then scoot home and re-do it.

There all a rip off with lots of wording designed to deny almost everything. Put the same amount of money in a special savings account for breakdowns, and fix the little stuff yourself and move on.

x2.. Your forced to take the rv several times a year to have normal maintenance done, like roof and window caulk, bearing grease, etc etc.. Which is an out of pocket expense. Some offer 10% off of these services, but big deal.

Mike. Comments are anecdotal or personal opinions, and worth what you paid for them.
