Has anyone ever gone to American Tire for tires for your RV? Our Store here says they do not put tires on RVs.

I should have been more clear and said 5er or TT when comparing to my boat trailer since Motorhomes can have the same size wheels as a Semi.

I was surprised at it was $300 more for the same 6 tires at the Vegas Costco compared to the Discount store there.

Agreed! My experience is they DESTROY Costco on price. Prior to 2013 I bought all my tires from Costco, one price check saved $$$.

when you say "RV tire" are you referring to tires for a class A motorhome or for a travel trailer?

If it's a travel trailer, ALL the Americas/Discount tire stores around here carry and install TT tires as well as tires for class B and C RV's. You may just need to find another location.

As for tires for a Class A, that I can't answer for Americas/Discount tire.

Check out worldoftires.com they sell a tire called Wanli for a great price installed.

Is anyone familiar with the Wanli tires the price is great but never heard of them.

The store you questioned does not install RV tires, which you apparently are shopping for. The next logical step would be to ask that store for a referral to a store that will install RV tires, or contact other stores yourself with the question, "Do you install RV tires?"

I'd order the tires from Tire Rack, then stop by an independent tire store and have them mounted. There's one-man tire stores all over my town (selling used tires), your area may be different.

Does it really matter if other Americas Tire stores do RVs?

Yours has already informed you THEY don't.

So you will need to find another tire store that does.

OR you could remove 1-2 wheels and take them in for tire replacements
then return with other wheels after installing first ones.

If they don't do that kind of work I would go someplace that does.
