Another rv rollover

Sorry, no pictures. Even if I were able to snap a few I wouldn't post someones misfortune for the world to see. Anyway we are currently camping at Ludington State park in Michigan. While on a day trip today on US 31 near Pentwater we came across a rollover that was a 30ish foot travel trailer and a full size SUV, both on their sides. While nobody likes to see an accident, as a fellow RVer this made my heart sink. By the looks of it I'm hoping the occupants were ok, but the trailer not so much as it was flattened. I'm speculating of course but I'm guessing a blown tire on the tow vehicle or trailer sway caught up with the driver, who knows at this point. Again I'm hoping everybody is ok.

Lots of RVs on the road today, stay safe everybody.

I donโ€™t think it was directed at anyone in particular. In the past this type of thread has tended to generate lots of speculation and snide comments which would eventually lead to the closure of the thread.

Exactly. These types of threads often lead to extreme criticism of a driver they don't know, an accident they didn't see and a situation they have no knowledge of.

I just looked at the Oceana County Facebook page. Not much info, but they did say there were no injuries and that it was a single vehicle crash.

Without more info it is hard to make an intellegent comment beyond "I hope nobody got hurt".

A Full size SUV sounds.. like it could handle a 30' TT.. But then I truly do not know.

I do know we have had some minor storms here in MI but no big winds that I'm aware of.

I also know that sometimes the accident is NOT the fault of the man in the ditch.

But then I managed to avoid the ditch.. I was also in a sub compact car at the time not the RV.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

That's what I think about when the yahoos fly past me at 75 mph pulling 35 feet of TT...hopefully they won't be ahead in a ditch.
