good morning ,,, first i would like to say thanks to all who have been so nice for helping me with what i call ,,,,here comes the dumb ,,,, you have been awesome and such a big help . stupid things like using an electric frying pan to save on propane . to you experts , thats a no brainer but to a novice like myself its those little things that really help .

now,,,, to those of you who are so smart ,,,rude ,,, why dont you just drop your better than now attitude ,,,, and remember that time you were asking the same dumb questions . most come from guys ,,,, so smart guys ,,,,, were you born that way ,,,, you skipped little league and triple A and went right to the majors ,,,,coach even put you right in hitting clean up i bet . and in the off season ,,,,youre what,,,, sitting on a computer giving grief to green horns like me . come on ,,,,try and get off that horse of yours ,,,, give us newbies a break ,,,, if you have to blown your horn ,,,go by a case of beer put in on ice and have a drinks on me campfire tonight ,,,at least that way youll be manning up face to face at showing what a know it all you are .

look i grew up in the city ,,, blue collar all male workforce all my life ,,, isnt this the time in our lives we should be dropping the insecurities of being or not being a know it all ,,, someone once said ,,,show me a man who knows all and ill show you ignorance ,,,,,

At one time none of us knew anything about RV's..

However, some of us tend to forget that point. :E

Keep asking questions and don't worry about the wise guy comments.

You can always use the 'block member' feature of the forum.

Please keep in mind this is a public opinion forum and you are going to get opinions and lots of them sometimes. With regional differences and international forum members you need to not get put off easily if you need information. You can gain a world of knowledge here or just get mad!

I think you will find or are finding that it takes a certain amount of 'thick skin' to participate on forums. For some reason hiding behind forum names brings out in some people comments they probably would not make to a person face to face.

And it is certainly not limited to this forum, as it is part and parcel of the forum culture. The best thing is to just ignore it and not let it get to you. Why waste your time with people that don't really care to help you?

You have to be a novice before you can be a expert! We have all started out with silly questions. Experience will come, be patient. After 5 years of RV'ing and traveling all over the country, we still are confounded with some silly questions! You just never stop learning...ever.
