The states still control this tho but I would expect a lot of states to follow the suggestions. Not the Plague Centers tho. So maybe we will be able to RV again.

We are going out to find some cotton material that can be used to make washable masks. They recommend the stuff like tee shirts are made of. 6 or 8 layers. It will not stop viruses but will stop spray from coughs and sneezes.

Youโ€™re right about that. My mom has been selling them on eBay and theyโ€™re going like hotcakes right now!

I believe that that is just because they want them available in critical situations for critical personnel. not used up by the general public.

Stop with the fake news pls

Did you even READ your own link? Here is a copy and paste from that article which affirms what flyflotr said.

Can wearing a face mask protect against the 2019 coronavirus? Can wearing a face mask protect against the 2019 coronavirus?

Homemade face masks
Homemade face masks only offer a small degree of protection, but they may help prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 from asymptomatic people. The CDC recommends using them in public settings, as well as practicing social distancing and proper hygiene.

Surgical masks
Surgical masks canโ€™t protect against infection with SARS-CoV-2. Not only does the mask not filter out smaller aerosol particles, but air leakage also occurs through the sides of the mask as you inhale.

N95 respirators
N95 respirators can protect against smaller respiratory droplets, such as those containing SARS-CoV-2. However, the CDC currently doesnโ€™t recommend their use outside of healthcare settings.

World-wide (not counting what china is not telling us) covid deaths have passed the number of flu deaths in a typical American flu season. Fear the reaper!!??
100,000+ worldwide deaths is more than 60,000 to 80,000 deaths from a flu season in just our country.
This is the panic the dishonest media is making a lot of us panic over.
If you are older and have underlying health problems then you should have a little concern of getting any illness, but otherwise statistically this is insignificant.
The federal govt has not locked down anything, lock downs are all acts of the state governors who are buying into the panic.

Even the "PROFESSOINALS" don't have a clue how to wear a respirator. Notice the metal strip is NOT pressed into place to make a seal along the sides of the nose??? FACT is he is spreading who knows what and inhaling thru his nose and mouth who knows what!!!

Get all surfaces tight to your face or it is almost useless wearing the mask.

This is how I went to town the other day. I was very well protected, notice how tight the mask is to my face and around ny nose???

This is what i wear riding my Motorcycle. Per Surgeon General recommendations I placed one Bounty paper towel folded in 1/2 so it covered my mouth and nose behind the face sock. I was well protected and so were all others from me.

No one in Florida 'owns' the beach below the mean high tide line. But he does own the section above that and that is where he was. I recalled it was some personality but didn't remember who. And for the rest it would be difficult to plant your garden with no seeds for example. But I concede there is always Burpees online, if they are still in business.

Some guy was threatened with arrest in Palm Beach County Fl while he sat in a chair behind his house on a private beach, he said he was going to sue but went inside.

The Governor of Michigan has banned the sale of building supplies and garden products at big box hardware stores like Lowes/Home Depot. Thus banning the activities I mentioned.
It's kind of a stretch to go from a shopping restriction to say that people can't work on their homes. Seems kind of like an hysterical Faux News spin. I couldn't find anything online about the Palm Beach guy. I did find that Mike Huckabee, yes that Mike Huckabee:S and some neighbors have sued because they were unable to congregate on the beach behind their homes. Apparently they do not "own" the beach below the water line so that seems to be sort of a stunt as well. Now is a good time to begin getting news from legitimate sources;)

You can also assume that the death rates are reported low as coroners have been low priority for getting test kits.

Don't see what you are talking about here. Why can we assume that??

What he is saying (and it makes 100% Sense) is that the test kits are being used on the living.. So if someone dies, who has NOT been tested positive. the cornor can not list it as a COVID-19.. it may go down as Inluenza since the symptoms are close. or as Unknown.

This is as it should be by the way.

Why would you stop someone from sitting in his own beach front yard away from other people? Why would you stop people from making repairs and/or improvements on their own house?
I haven't heard that folks aren't able to sit in their own yards or work on their own homes. Where is this happening? Does seem extreme.:?
