Just returned from several days camping between Divide, Co. and Cripple Creek. Some leaves started to change in past two days. In that area, at 9500' to 10,000' elevation, it will probably be great in 7-10 days.
We've had some maple leaves turning since August due to the lack of adequate rain. Now that we've had the first temps in the 30's at night more leaves will be turning. Some people are claiming there will be some good leaf watching this fall.
