Crowds in the Keys ?

Trying to decide whether to head for the Keys, or go to Q'site again. I know what the crowds are around Q'site, but have no knowledge of the Keys.

If you are retired military, then there will be a dry camping spot for you in Key West, otherwise, unless you have very expensive reservations, you will probably not find any place to camp in the keys. Monroe county, the keys and most of the lower Everglades, does NOT allow dry camping(boondocking) and they strictly enforce their ordinance.

I hope someone replies to this too. I won't be in a RV, but I have 4 days to spend in the Keys on the end of business trip to Miami.
