This was a great Year for us and our Rv adventures. This is our 1st full year of retirement.
We spent the 1st 3 months in fl. at our snowbird spot. Had a great time there. Once we got back to Mi. we made a few spring trips of 4-5 days each about 180-250 miles from home.
The middle of June we met the DW's brother and SIN on our Mi. west side (they came out from Ca.) in their 26' TT we spent 3 weeks with them and our Oldest DD traveling up the W.coast of Lk. Mi. then into the UP and left them to head home from Escanaba.
I asked my DW where she would like to go on a late summer / fall trip and she aid she would kie to see the Ca. Redwoods and maybe the Grand Canyon and of course stop in Vegas along the way
We left home and drove through our UP again and across the northern US stopping for a few days in Philipsburg Mt. where we had lived for a year in the early 80's. We continued on and again met up with her brother in Walport Oregon where we stayed a few day along the coast exploring areas around Newport. Then down the coast to Cresent Ca. where we spent several days exploring the Ca. N. coast and the redwoods. We continued down the coast and split up from my BIL around Auburn Ca. where he lives.
We meandered our way across Ca. and stopped in Vegas also saw the red rock area. Then down into AZ. and the south rim of the GC. where we spent a few days. We left the GC and stopped in Albuquerque and the Balloon fest. then south through Roswell NM. staying for an afternoon to see the aliens.
Carlsbad caverns were next and if you have never been they are well worth the visit. From Carls bad we went to Ft. Worth then angled our way towards home for the next week. Our last stop was Sipsehwanna Indiana and a good comfort food meal with the Amish.

All in all on that trip we drove 6700 miles towing and 8,000 miles total on my truck. We saw a huge amount of Elk, Deer, Prong horns we even caught a glimpse of a Cougar on our way out of the GC. a wonderful trip.
We just returned from a favorite hangout in Manistee Mi. where we spent 5 days.
The end result has been a great Camping season for us no major troubles or break downs. We are looking forward to heading out to Fl. right after Thanks giving. Our Lord has been kind to us allowing us to be on the road for about 5-6 months this year.
How did your Year go I hope it was a good one.

We spent the Summer in the Adirondack Mountains under the tall pines. About as close to Heaven as we could get. Now headed back to FL for the cold months.

I just spoke to my daughter about this ! Their families of 6 (4 kids under 7) are "first timers" and their first trip was to Disney World in late winter.

They have had several other outings, but closer to home and for shorter periods.

They have had their problems with the TT (water heater, awning), but she said everyone really enjoyed camping and can not wait until next season.

ours was good but not great. we had many good outings, but weren't able to schedule our typical two 3-4 week out of state trips like we usually do. Ended up with 45 days of camping around the state. Was fun and we enjoyed it but missing the two big trips was a downer.

Being retired, we do either get out during the school season or midweek camping with lots of campgrounds are pretty empty so we do enjoy it.

already starting to plan for next year and make sure we get the big trips in.

One on the list is to eastern oregon where we have reservations well in advance for the solar eclipse in August as the start of a 3 week campout

Wow, you did have a great season. We are as well and will continue to camp for another month. Wet for sure but fewer quieter campers now

If you're RVing, every year is great. It's just that some years are greater than others. ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow, you made some great memories!

We had a good year. Started by trading in our Class B for a C, which made life with a big dog much easier. We love the new one.

Went to a nearby rally and our slide wouldn't retract. That actually was a good thing, timing wise. Got a repair by the dealer, near our home and no plans interrupted. Glad it didn't happen far away.

Had a great trip to Quebec for five weeks, seeing family on the way. Really got familiar with the new RV, how everything works out, made our little mods.

We leave soon for two weeks of Florida waterfront camping in various great spots. And we're planning a two-month trip for late spring back west. Life is good.
