exterior cleaning on TT

Anyone have any tricks of the trade on how to bring back to life the
the finish on a prowler alum TT. The outside is really dingy and has dark streaks coming down the sides. I am willing to use a lot of elbow grease and I do have a power buffer, but am not sure what cleaning solutions to use. Local dealer not much help, wants to sell me all kinds of stuff off the shelf. If you know of something that works better than most I would really like to hear about it.
Thanks

First you need to wash the roof to stop the black streaks from coming back. I use this

Krud Kutter

or this

LA's Totally Awesome

and a long handled stiff scrub brush.

Then I wash the sides with this

Citrus Wash

Then spray everything with this

Hybrid V7

and wipe it down. My RV looks better now than it did when it was new.

+1 on the Meguiar's product.I used their #67 One Step compound on my 2007 hybrid. It's an aggressive cleaner with slight grit for cutting oxidation.Having never used this product before,I chose to do it by hand vs. machine not wanting to damage the paint. It worked extremely well removing oxidation, even on the decals.Work a small area at a time, like 3'x3'.You don't let it dry like a wax,you wipe it off immediately. It has a built-in polish so the effect is dramatic instantly. As for black streaks,I've never had any stains that a Mr. Clean industrial Magic Eraser would not take care of.Hope this helps.

Wash it with a siding cleaner or paint prep cleaner that has a TSP substitute. The TSP will remove any dirt and oxidation on the surface. It is the oxidation that makes it look dull.

Black streak remover, then a chemical based cleaner/wax rather than an abrasive. The paint on that aluminum siding is much thinner than automotive finishes, must be careful machine polishing not to rub through. Been there, done that.

Wash it, and then wax it with MeQuire's cleaner wax. The cleaner wax will remove just about everything, and make it look like new. Just rub it on until the black streaks are gone. Cleaning, and waxing in one application. Wax comes off easy.

rv streak remover seems to work. Maybe just hot water and heavy duty laundry detergent. Then new wax.
