Go to Kidde.com then to middle towards bottom for product and safety, choose usa or canada on next page, then follow steps to check and see if your fire extinguisher ( back to 1973) is one of the millions being recalled. There are steps to follow for a free replacement.
Ours was one that is being recalled, many rv's probably have one of these extinguishers.
