Three cents a gallon today does not sound like much , but you could get a good lunch at Woolworth for 69 cents .

Hundred years ago or so , 1950s , gas in Florida was 23 to 29 cents but when ya crossed into Georgia there was a truck stop for 19 cents and they would hand you back three cents a gal that you would always faithfully hand in to your employer .

Is that in the US?

Sort of. It's on a Seneca Nation Indian reservation in western NY state but you don't have to be a tribal member to buy gas there.

I see in the article people are concerned about peole with COVID coming to town and touching the gas pumps. I mean what are the chances of somebody getting anything icky on a gas pump.

And this is why we charge our electric vehicles almost exclusively at home. 🙂
