Looking for comments from anyone using the gen y torsion flex hitch. In particular has anyone used the Andersen wd hitch in combination with the gen y. My initial concern is the distance it extends from the truck.

I dunno, Andersen works great on our 8klb ATC. It has about 38k miles on it and always quiet and easy to use. Complete opposite of the Reese dual cam I had before. I hated that thing. Anyway curious, gen y does have a wd option but will Not work with the Andersen.

Neither hitch lists the bolt spacing, so the only way to know is to call.

But, the Andersen Hitch isn't that great for heavier trailers.
Also, people that own it on other forums I frequent are continually replacing bushings on it.

I won't own anything from Andersen after the owners of the company defaced Corona Arch in Utah.

Gen Y makes some claims about that hitch that are pretty far out in left field, such as:
Increases fuel economy
Reduce tire wear on your truck and trailer

Why not call the company and ask about using a weight distribution hitch?
My opinion is that it is a good way to waste money.
