Another member suggested a new forum section with new products but it doesn't look like it will be feasible. So I thought I would post this here under General RVing Issues. If enough people post (even if you have mentioned it before in another post) we can keep it near the top?

Do you have a handy hint, a new product or an old product that makes your RVing or Camping much better?

(Sorry, no commercial advertising allowed)

I'll start:

Someone in the Camping Van posted a reference to using a Super-Chamois to wipe down their shower. I have been using an icky old thick sponge and I like the chamois idea so much more.

Now I want to hear what works for you

New Item - It's called Wash/Wax and it's made by Aero Cosmetics. Originally meant for airplanes but they found RVers liked it for their units. You simply spray it on and wipe it off. It's a polymer wax.

But what really makes it great, they just developed a 2-sided micro-sheen mop with an extended handle that allows you to do the entire unit without a ladder.

For those interested, go to www.washwax.com.

I searched for this post but couldn't find it. Could someone please send a link to the topic?

DH uses his label maker and makes a label with the height of whatever RV we have at that time and sticks it in front of the gauges on the dash so he can easily see it. Then we know exactly what we can go under.

For my cabinet doors that meet in the middle I use some stretch ponytail holders that are close to the color of my oak cabinets to keep them from coming open while traveling.

No need to use a power saw ... just use a sharp knife.

I used sissors to cut them, but to make the cuts neater just use a power saw. You can buy them at the dollar store.

I cut various lengths of swimming noodles (long, dense foam swimming aids for kids) and use them to take up extra space on the shelves in the refrigerator, bathroom cabinets, and over the door storage baskets so items will not slide around while driving and possibly spill or jump out when I open the doors. When I first use the frig, etc., after getting settled at our destination I remove them and throw them in the underbed storage until time to move on.

I used sissors to cut them, but to make the cuts neater just use a power saw. You can buy them at the dollar store.

I believe that is your settings that are preventing the images from showing up.

Yes, it's a setting you have to change.........

Never mind. I just found it. Stoopid me. Just didn't look hard enough.

then click on: "My Preferences"

Under General Preferences put a check mark next to: "Show images that are part of posts ( not recommended for dial-up users )"

Then click on: "Submit Changes"
