Insurance for others for my RV?

If I was lending my RV to friend for a trip, is he covered under my insurance? What if he's paying to use the RV? does that change anything?

Do I need a different policy or to have him find get his own policy?

Yes, your ins. will cover them BUT, the inc. company can go after them for any loss it incurs.
So while your rig will for sure be covered, your friend may end up paying the bill for any damage no matter who's to blame.

How in the world would you expect anyone to have an answer, if you can't answer the question yourself.

I can't read your insurance policy. If you want to scan it and post it online we can all offer you our opinion.

I'll say they should be covered. If they get into a wreck or damage it, just tell your insurance company that the folks on RV.Net said you should be covered.
