MICE!!!

All- just got my baby (2014 32' Forrester, class c) out of storage and found a tribe of mice has been living there for a while. I guess moth balls and traps aren't bullet proof...

Took it to a shop and sounds like they may have gotten to some wires and it's becoming an expensive deal. Any idea if insurance companies cover that kind of stuff?

Thanks!

Lots of people come up with claims that things like this keep mice away. How do you know? What if there are no mice to start with? The only sure fire things that work are the ones professional exterminators use...traps and poison. No dryer sheets, electronic gizmos, moth balls, etc.

Impossible to answer without knowing your insurance/coverage, etc..

For me, yes. No question about it, it's covered.

Very sorry to hear about this for you..

In Michigan, it would be covered. It is covered under comprehensive coverage on the policy. You would have to check with your company, in your state to see if the same would be true for you. It would be minus your deductible.

Sorry but can't think of any part of an insurance policy that covers mice:(.
Now is the time to close off every egress a rodent might find and sleep securely. Caulk, fine wire mesh and ground glass are your friends and you need to start applying it from the underside of the RV, up.
