I would like to mount a little wire rack over my stove for spices. what is the best way to do this and not put a hole through the side of the camper (outside). Is there something that will stick to the walls and not fall down while you are traveling? So we won't have to put a hole in the wall.

You guys and gals have always came up with a solution to all of my questions.. Thank you

I'm a big fan of the moly anchors for heavier items and I also don't like putting random holes everywhere, but a few isn't going to effect the value of your trailer in the end IMO and you'll probably leave whatever you mount there permanently anyway.

I also like the 3M Command hangers, but be aware there has been at least one report of them actually pulling the vinyl wall covering off the wall so that is something to keep in mind.

Or heavy weight/heavy duty Velcro. Thing of beauty and not much additional weight added. You can use a heat resistant glue to attach the back piece or staples. I hang a triple lined valance in my L/R from the stuff and as long as you seat it properly it's not coming down.

Gigi,

I would use 3-M "Command strip" hangers - many different styles available.

Be sure to clean the wall with alcohol before you attach the strips, otherwise the greasy film will prevent them from sticking.

X2, that is what we are using and have none come off the wall yet. JMO

Never tried a stick on type product but have mounted several things using short molly bolts (metal and plastic style) without poking hole in outer wall (knock on wood). I use a stop collar on drill but and go VERY VERY slow. Be sure to get the molly bolts 1/8" thick walls...1/8" thick...is that an oxymoron ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm thinking the 3M products would fail with the heat from the stove

I hung a decent size wall clock using 3-M tape hangers.... And my DW will tell you that I'm not the best driver :B and yet that thing stays hanging there trip after trip!!

Mount the rack to a piece of wood then attach it to the wall with construction adhesive. I use Loctite PL-Premium. It's available in squeeze-tube or caulking tube.
