Hey guys. Not sure if this is the right place to post but the family and I are leaving for Maine tomorrow and my brother in law just moved to Boston and said that there were lots of low bridges that the moving truck almost didn't clear. Does anyone have any suggested routes to take or avoid? We usually head south so I know those routes but north is new to me. Oh, and we are pulling an 11' tall travel trailer.
Thanks!! This forum is sooooo helpful!!

Routes already mentioned are fine for your 11 ft tall trailer. Large moving vans as mentioned by your BIL are usually much taller than that.

If you are going up to Acadia, we usually get off I95 at Portland and take I295 and route 1. No low bridges there either.

Couple of choices. Take the TZB and 287 to 684, 84, 90, 495, 95. Or take 87 to 84 and the rest is the same. There are no height problems anywhere on either route.

been all up through there with a tractor. stay on highways and you will be good. ill be heading to maine in august and i think ill go the 91 to 84/90 route and take 495 up to 95. youll be fine. moving trucks go into residential areas so dont worry bout that. keep an open eye and have a great trip.
