Hello all.
So I am new to towing a large trailer with a dually and was wondering what people think as far as single or dual pivot 5th wheel? I have a 2005 F350 CC LB DRW Diesel built up. I will be hauling a 48'CTS 10' tall 21k gvw toy hauler. Input please.

Thanks for the advice guys. I Have a single pivot Binkley 32k mini 5th wheel I took off my old Sport chassis and was going to build a air ride mount for it to use in the F350. The trailer will always be on pavement though as its for hauling road race bikes. I was just worried about Stability as am not used to towing with anything less than a class 7truck.

Get the dual pivot. With a heavy trailer, if the ground is a bit uneven, it can be difficult to unhook, and even more difficult to re-hook.

Do you mean a fifth wheel hitch that pivots front to back as well as side to side? If you do, then I think they all pivot both ways now. (I could be wrong) but I wouldn't own one that didn't

What the heck is a dual pivot fifth wheel? Never heard of such a thing.
