Passenger pickup at McCarren Airport with class A motorhome

Has anyone out there ever picked up passengers arriving at the McCarren Airport in Las Vegas
in their motorhome? If so, where do you park at the airport or can you drive through to a pickup spot?
I want to leave this earth quietly in my sleep like my grandfather and not like the hysterical, screaming passengers riding in granddad's RV just before the big crash.:E

There is plenty of room to pickup in a class A at that airport but parking might not be available.

If you want a good look, Google maps has a good street view of the main ramp to the arrivals pickup area. Check it out!!

I,d call and ask, each airport could be different.

I was dropping off my sister at the San Francisco Airport with our old 28' Class C. We were instantly surrounded by cops and airport security, they insisted that I could not stop with a large vehicle anywhere near the airport due to the potential of carrying a bomb. While I was discussing this with the cop, my sister jumped out and said good by. JH ๐Ÿ™‚

Downtheroad has it right, coaches and transit buses do airport drop offs all the time, so you must have somewhere you can sweep by to pick them up from. Get a map of the airport and ask them where passenger vehicles pick up.

Parking will certainly be a problem at the terminal...but to just swing in and pick-up someone can be done at "Arrivals."
Full size buses from city transit and from the big hotels do it all day long.

You will have to park and wait off site somewhere on a side street and use your cell phone to have your passenger call you when they are out front....then you can swing in and make the pick-up on the fly.

Dropped off 4 passengers with a 25' class "C" with no problem whatsoever for international flight in April.

have the person take a free shuttle to a hotel or rental car lot, and pick them up there, going to be a lot less hectic traffic wise

It's been a while since I was there so I don't know.

BUT I just did a quick memory run of the airports that I have been at lately and NONE of them will accommodate anything larger than a large shuttle van in their customer areas. Even the ones that used to do this don't anymore for "security" reasons.

I think you NEED to contact the airport directly and get a specific answer, including detailed routing IN and OUT.....and the person's name and job title who you talk to.

I personally think this is a BAD idea.
