I drive by this car lot several times a week. I spotted this truck there. Not very often you see a used F150 with the Heavy Duty payload package sitting on a car lot.

Definitely not the max tow package. My 2010 has that feature, and is rated for 11,100 lbs towing, and 1810 lbs payload.

It not only includes tow mirrors, but longer rear springs, sharper turning radius, heavy duty cooling system, separate transmission cooler, class IV hitch, built-in brake controller, built-in active anti-sway system, 7 pin and 4 pin trailer connections, etc.

My ex-boss bought a 2011 F150 with the Ecoboost. His tow capacity matches mine, despite being a 6 cylinder. He tows a 27' Airstream.

Great trucks, but be sure what you're buying before laying down the money. LOTS and LOTS of possible configurations available. All else fails, there's a website that will decode the VIN to tell you exactly what the factory built.

No matter what it is, I wouldn't choose an F150. For reliability, safety and future needs I would go with at least an F250 but my vehicle of choice is always an F350/ 3500 or larger. Get a truck that will meet your needs now and when you decide to go with a heavier RV like most RVers end up doing within 5-10 years.

Towing mirrors in 2013 were an option. It's an EB as the emblem says. It has the 7 lug wheels. 1/2 the time car dealers misprint info. It's the real deal.

The payload listed under Tech Specs is the generic payload rating that the Max Tow only F150 would have.

The tag placement on the front of the truck indicates that it is in fact, an Ecoboost. The tag is off-center on the front. It does not have the HD package, because it does not have the 7-lug wheels (that's the way to know), but it might have the standard max tow package.

I does have 7 lug wheels though.

It has neither Max Tow nor HD Payload, as it doesn't have the towing mirrors.

It has the EcoBoost medallion on the doors so I'm guessing...

Nice truck, but I question the HD claim. The payload and the towing capacity are both LESS than my Silverado 1500 NHT max towing package, by a considerable amount.
