Slide Out Toppers ???

Are they worth the extra cash to install over slide outs ? Pros and Cons please before I pull the trigger and buy three for my Tracer.

I got my trailer used and it has a topper? 1 slide.

keeps dirt/leaves/branches off and helps keep it dry at the seals...
and keeps the Sun off of it...
as the couch and dinette are on the slide.

I put one on after debating about it for a year, I like it, helps keep it a little bit cooler inside. Does tend to pool water after a rain,
But that's easy enough taken care of.
It was easy enough to install with some help,took about a hour for a
12 ft. one

IMO....yes well worth it. Especially if you camp where trees drop leave etc.
