I have a 2015 Autumn Ridge TT by Starcraft. Even though it might be considered "entry level" it has LED lighting throughout and an actual plywood floor instead of OSB, with the slide floor being composite which was important to me (first place water damage would happen in most TT). Nice unit. Many others use OSB or laminated for which is a cheap sandwich of thin luan and styrofoam (flagstaff/rockwood use this). It's junk. Look for plywood and better construction like thicker roof/sidewall materials too. Evergreen made nice units but went out of business-they were composite made materials.

Last I heard Jayco used "wood" trusses in the roof. My 2007 Eagle had wood. Bought 2 new trailers since then and both used aluminum. Aluminum doesn't rot.
Happy trails,
Not really a fair statement. Wood doesn't rot either, if you maintain your RV and prevent leaks. A leak can damage an aluminum framed rig too, perhaps even worse. Roof leaks are easy to prevent. Slide leaks, maybe a bit more challenging.

My 2008 Starcraft 14 R/T has 2x8 inch frames under the front deck and the tongue area. I don't think the look-alike JAYCO version of that has the same massive frames...

Yes.
Starcraft has been an independent division since Jayco acquired them, many years ago.
For for 2 or 3 years, during the last recession, Jayco did move Starcraft production into their own factories, where Starcraft units were clones of Jayco's units.
That's why many still think they're the same thing.
