Tekonsha Envoy Swap with Voyager Brake Controller?

When we bought the t.t. a couple months ago, we had a tekonsha Voyager installed (2016) on our tahoe, but then decided to buy a dedicated truck for it.
The truck we bought for the t.t. came with an '04 vintage tekonsha Envoy brake controller.
The wires are the same color and the size is the same.
We are considering pulling out the old envoy out of the truck, and connecting the new Voyager to the same color wires.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks
Bob

There are standards for all automotive and that also applies to trailer connector
wiring function/color

Do a search using: trailer brake wiring colors

and here are a few found in seconds:

It is very likely ok....but the only way to know for sure is to have the wiring diagrams from each controller to verify the color/function of each wire.
