My jeep (stock) weighs about 25 lbs more than the terrain.
As for the ride, if you think a terrain is comparable to a jeep, you should be driving the terrain. Enjoy!

There has been a lot of roads in the last six years we have taken our Libby that I wouldn't even think about taking a Terrain - different strokes for different folks. Oh, we can tow it at any legal speed and never have to worry about running the engine every so many hours either.

Actually, it's a bit more than 3800 lbs. Our 2011 Terrain, 4cyl, 2wd weighs in at exactly 4000 lbs....weighed it several times on different scales. I suspect that an AWD will add another couple of hundred pounds and with a 6cyl, probably another 200 lbs.

Yep, it's a very nice toad with lots of options and good mpg. We have almost 60,000 miles on ours with about another 20,000 being towed.

Go ahead...shout it out.
