Toilet flapper thingy

Oh junk, the toilet flapper thingy won't budge. And this after a major deposit of the Captain's log. :B
Imagine my disgust when all I could do was dive in with a screw driver in hand to immerse the tool beyond the unmentionable you know what to get to the flapper. I managed after a lot of digging and bypassing through yesterdays dinner to move the deal enough for the (unmentionable) to drop through. :S Needless to say, I relinquished the screwdriver of any future doodies, I mean duties, and gave it a proper burial.
Okay, so what do I do? :h Disgustingly yours, in the dumps.

(ke and model of toilet is required for any repair info- some use a flapper, some a slider.....most new models use rotating balls.)

Yeah, that's what she said.
Seriously, though, it looks to be a slider type. So maybe I could go with the WD or even a little vegetable oil. Let it sit there a while and work it back and forth. Come to think of it, that's what she said, too.

Really? You threw away a perfectly good screwdriver instead of rinsing it off and spraying with bleach?

Or just keep it with your drain hose and such, in case you have to do it again.

WD-40 supposedly works on anything.

I'm pretty sure that when they invent transporters, they will insert one inside of us to beam our waste to the orbit of Uranus.. That will be the first use of this technology.

Nah, we beamed Scotty up a long time ago and now the space league blocked me with their security shields. 🙂

Call Mr Scott for more power? It's the Captains log "supplemental" you need to be concerned with now.
