Let's share book ideas!

I'm currently reading Huckleberry Finn. Haven't read it since I was a kid and, no surprise, it's a lot more complex than I remembered :). And a good traveling book!

Also highly recommended, from my just-finished pile, Motoring with Mohammed. It's nothing about war -- it's a travelogue from the 80s, about Yemen. Beautifully written.
3/4 timing in a DIY van conversion. Backroads, mountains, boondocking, sometimes big cities for a change of pace.

Copilot campanion, I just wrote a response to you request to let you know about the book about life during Jane Austin's lifetime. For some reason it won't post as I keep getting a message it cant be posted due to formatting problems????? This has happen to me before when I have written reponses here. I am trying to figure out how to fix it but I wanted to let you know I did respond but it won't post. I am going to try to see if I can fix it?????I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Finished "the nature of the beast" by Louis Penny. Her books are great she offers a unique look at Canada's law enforcement combined with a little village north of Quebec that has no cell service, no location on GPS, no internet. Very interesting.
Start at the beginning of the series as this is a continuing story.

Oh I LOVE her books. I have learned so much about small village life in the woods of Quebec and about the values and traditions . I started with Still Life (her first one) and also recommend if possible to read them in order. I just love all of the characters and the interactions between them.
