We just got home yesterday from a weeks stay in Pigeon Forge. We went up without reservations last Saturday. Happen to hit one of the heaviest weekends of the year. The fall rod run antique car show was going on. We stayed at Kings Holly Haven. Didn't have a problem getting a good site. Have stayed at that camp ground in the past but stopped when a sports complex was being developed next door. I was concerned that the noise would be bad. Very little noise had a very good stay. Clean, quiet, very organized campground. Oct. Rates 30 amp. 33.00, 50 amp. 35.00.

We're in Riverside Campground in Sevierville. Pay for 6 nights get 7th free. Some shady sites and some in the open good for satellite. They also have river sites.

Try River Plantation and see if they have any availability. Right now most places are pretty well full that time of year.
