Adorable picture! Ike, my full-sized Aussie, was tall enough to sit between the seats and supervise the driving and sightsee, also. And after a long day on the road, if it was getting close to dusk, he'd sit there and COMPLAIN (grumblegrumblegrowl) that we hadn't found an RV park yet....LOL!!!!

I just always worry about dogs (and people) going through windshields. When we had our Endura Class C, Jesse & Jake were always crated and the crates secured. Unfortunately loose stuff keeps going when a vehicle stops abruptly. We do, however, leave them loose in the back of the capped pick-up when we travel with them which more or less contradicts my mind-set.

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be

You'll be more comfortable knowing that the safest place in our RV (type) is in the cab.
When she's not up front with us, laying on the floor, Maggie lays on the folded flat jack knife sofa behind the passenger seat.

He is adorable! Don't want to be critical but for your safety and his he probably should ride in a more secure place. Love your rig-if we ever get back into RVing on a serious level we'd be looking at something like that.
