Biscuit, I DO Care. It angers me to see an animal tied up all day every day. And YES, I would do that. and, if I could, I would tie the people who tie that dog up to that tree for all day every day and see how they like it. Tieing a dog up will make it into a mean dog. If you don't like it, that's YOUR opinion, but now I have made sure you have heard mine, and we are both entitled to our OWN opinion. so, there you have it dear one. I would still do the very same thing. someone has to stand up for animals that are being ABUSED. and that DOG is.

I think I would just, when the poor dog is barking and the owner is away, would go over with a big hunk of cheese, use the cheese to insure friendship with the dog and untie it. let him go. Might be wrong, but that's what I would do. No dog deserves to be tied up on a permanent basis. You say the county has no resources to come and take care of the issue, they wont have the resources to come look for whoever regularly unties the dog either. I cant stand people who mistreat animals and children. No everyone who wants to castigate me, have at it, I really don't care.

Thank you for posting this link. I just ordered from Amazon.
We have some idiot neighbors on the other side of the 10 ft privacy fence that for some stupid reason brought home a pit bull that stays tied up 24/7/365 and barks constantly.
Talking with these worthless individuals is not an option, they operate on a sub-human level of intelligence.
Hopefully this will stop the barking. We had one in the past that we got when we brought our dog home 7 years ago and the dog still does not bark to this day and we long since gave the old bark repeller away.
Good luck to the OP, some people think everyone should enjoy the noise from an ignored animal.
If this is people's idea of getting a dog, then just don't.
Chris
