45 psi fresh water pump in a 20-30 psi system

I need to replace the fresh water pump on my motorhome (old one got stolen while during renovations). The rig manual says the system is 20-30 psi but I found a new pump on kijiji that is rated at 45 psi. Any issues along the road if I buy that one?

Thank you

Bet you have 'GRAY' plumbing lines/fittings

It is 'Quest' piping......Polybutylene pipe
The pipe is OK but the aluminum bands/clamps fail.

If you have Copper crimps or threaded fittings it is OK
Is it time for your medication or mine?

It will be fine with the 45 PSI pump.
Even when you connect to city water your going to be at least 40~45 psi in most cases.

Most pumps have a pressure adjustment. You should be able to turn it down, even though you probably don't need to. Most city water connections are higher than 20-30 PSI.

Leaks? It's about twice the pressure. But it might be okay, probably will depend on the state of your plumbing, or rather the state of your RV's plumbing.
