The 16.5 is the rim diameter.

Tires for 16.5" rims are obsolete and no longer made or available, been that way for the last 20 yrs or so. My Dad had a 1980 F350 which used 16.5" tires, when those tires became hard to get had to buy 16" rims to run new tires in 16" size.

You can't use/fit 16" tires on the rims you have, you will need to buy new 16" rims.

See HERE for details and possible size conversions.

Do you have a tape measure? Go out and measure the height of the tires you have on it now and then that's the outside dia you need to shoot for?

1/2" +- will be close enough for the new size.

Good luck! Mitch

That’s the way it is done today by youngsters and by us older dudes! No going back.

How about you quit collecting email addresses to sell. You could sell extended warranties instead.

Just found something that says the 800s are 28.3” diameter. If they’re really that short (doesn’t seem right though) then the 215s are the closest you’ll get in a E load 16.

Ha, I couldn’t find a diameter published for 8.00x16.5s. But they’re likely bout the same as a 215-85-16 or 235-85-16.
