Yeah it's got prongs to push into a receptacle. I like the lighted feature. I like the $6.53 shipped feature even more.

That said- that voltmeter looks like a Chinese firebomb waiting to go off.

I looked around my room and I'll tell ya, between all the different Hwang-Yang electrical devices I'm sitting on a freakin' ammo bunker...

Normally you can cut and paste and simply delete anything after the first question mark in the url- everything before a php url is static, the ? appends dynamic info to it (i.e.- referrer, user, etc.)

It turned out to be a program that memorizes account settings. I disabled it and now things work fine. Thanks all. Digitally gifted, I am not.

I bought one part way through are 6 week trip when I realized the only way I could tell the AC was working was if the voltage on the battery was 13+ volts. Had it shipped to my MIL where we were going to be in week 5. Works good to immediately see if the box you plugged into is working and makes a good night light when you're on AC.

In nine thousand words or less how do I copy and paste a link that is account addressed so that everyone can read it and not get a "The number you have dialed is not in service"?

Remember this "fold-art" is an analog personality struggling in a digital environment. I heard that..
EZ:

* Click in the web address field at the top of your screen so the cursor is blinking somewhere in there.

* Press: CTRL + A (Select ALL)
* Press: CTRL + C (Copy all this)

Come back here to the form and start typing to post as you normally do.

NOW, you can paste the link two ways:
* Press: CTRL + V (Paste what you just copied)

This will get the job done and also cause people to whine because its not clickable, but thats OK because someone will fix it. OR..

If you click on the little globe with a chain link on it, you will have a window pop up. In there it will ask to enter the full address. Well you already have it because you copied it earlier, so
* Press: CTRL + V (Paste what you just copied)

The line below allows you to call it what you want, like this:

Mex's Cool Pick o' de Week

Give it a try. You can't break the server.

If the accuracy spec is correct:

"Measuring Accuracy : 1.5%,ยฑ2 word.", I don't think you could trust the reading to be within 100 volts of the real value.

It's much the same as copying links for pictures. Just use a different forum "icon" for links. Copy the URL in the address bar of your browser. When you're in forum's Post a Reply section, click on the button. Paste the link in the box below "Enter the complete URL for the link". Click Finished.
