I'm never been a fan of A/C covers RV or B&M... Than is until driving through heavy rain and even sitting in the campground during the rain storm, and water started coming in.

Can one drive down the road with an AC cover installed.?

Have you retorqued the A/C hold bolts recently? They can work loose a bit over time, letting condensate or rain leak in past the seal.

I tried that by accident.
It wasn't there when I got to the CG. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
AC should not leak driving in the rain and if it does, you need to figure out why. If the plastic cover is cracked, I had good luck with just fiberglassing the whole inside of it. Or spend the big bucks and replace it.
If it's leaking from the base seal, it needs to be replaced.
