awning light clips

we have plastic light clips for awning, can we leave clips on awning while rolled in? or do we need to uninstall & install every time?thanks

I use these, and leave them in when rolling up the awning. No problems.

If they're the type that slides in the awning tube slot, I would not leave them in. The clips will leave 'stretch' marks in the awning material.
