Bridged EU2000s: how long on a tank of fuel?

Just picked up 2 Honda EU2000s to bridge together for use with the 5th wheel.
I also ordered up an external tank, but it hasn't arrived yet and we're dry camping this weekend at the race track.

For folks running this setup, how long should I expect the generators to last on the tanks? (probably running the 15k A/C during the day)

Update after receiving the BERGS extended dual feed tank. Love this system and I was able to get similar results to ford truck guy in the 24+ hour range with a fair bit of AC usage. Well pleased. Super handy filling the single tank too. Nice to not sweat running out of fuel at 3am.

Also like the quality of the BERGS parts.

Good info. I ordered up a BERGS dual feed today as we are dry camping in a few weeks.

I was able to get about 6 hours or so with moderate A/C usage in our 5th wheel during our last dry camping outing. Really pleased with these little generators.

This is very useful info. As of now, I have a 3000 watt generator and when I have the A/C cranked (60 degrees), I get about eight hours of run time, and about 2.5 times that when just running the converter.

Were I to do it again, it would be a tossup. Remote start is a very nice feature, but nothing beats the versatility and run time of a set of Honda twins.

I just got back from 4 days of dry camping... without the AC , my 2 Honda's can run about 30+ hrs on eco.. This was plenty of power to run the microwave , lights , tv ect...Once I took them off eco and used the AC... my consumption went up.. I was getting about 12-15 hours on the one tank.
And the best was that is was so easy to fill the tank,,, not worrying about overfilling the Genny tank and spilling..

these findings were using a BERGS 5 gallon extended run tank/dual feed with the Generators full..

The ac duty cycle is a rather important factor.

This... has happened to me. One of my eu2000i's puts out 127.8V, the other puts out 123.3V. The one with the higher voltage pulls more load and works harder, when paired. Measured with a Kill a Watt at the outlets on each generator.

Not necessarily. It all depends. If it's 115 degrees outside (AZ desert) and you're "trying" (not necessarily succeeding) to cool a 25 foot TT, then a 3-4 hour runtime would be a reasonable expectation just like 2oldman mentioned. If you're cooling a 25 foot TT in, say, 95 degree heat then your 6 hour estimate IMO would be a reasonable expectation, too.

agreed... I was going off my own personal experience... 6 hrs is an average run time for my usage...

It will not double the run time... Each generator will last about 6 hrs.. depending on the draw.. My 2 are paralleled and run out of gas usually within 20 minutes of each other.. give or take

I get 6-7 hours run time out of my single EU2000i on one tank of gas running minimal use items... I believe my fuel tank size is one gallon.

If I had two 2KW Honda generators paralleled together I would expect this to double or 12-14 hours...

Of course running an Air Conditioner full time would probably be a somewhat max load for the generators using more fuel...

During power failures at the cottage with the fridge cycling on and off I get 10+ hrs on a gallon. In the evening we have one light and the TV for a couple of hours.
