Can I run my microwave off of battery power?

I'm almost afraid to ask this, because this might just break the space-time continuum and cause irreparable harm to the ozone layer.
But, ... using my 2000 watt inverter, can I run my 1000 watt microwave oven off of my dual 6 volt batteries long enough to cook a frozen TV dinner (4 minutes).

I nuke every day with my two 6v 435ah batteries. No genny, just 600w solar.

Yes, if you have a PSW inverter.
No if you have a MSW, because the micro needs almost double time to do the same job. And not only that, a microwave does not like dirty MSW power, and will shorten its life..

You should first find out the actual power draw. Example, a popular named brand RV microwave oven is listed for marketing as 1,000 watts of power. But the actual real world power draw is 1,450 watts when in use. Now it may seem trivial but those extra 450 watts of actual draw is why many find themselves on the short end of battery/inverter use.

Don't know about 2 batteries, but we have microwaved 3 or 4 dinners on our 4 batteries and still had power to spare.

Yes, if the battery cables are thick enough and the bank is brim full. You could start the truck to help support the voltage.

Marginal but probably yes. No harm to try once. May not if battery already low on charge.
Best to have 4+ batteries to drive 2000 watt inverter.
