My though is to use water fed brush and pole type where water flows through the pole. Or perhaps a smaller exterior tube to carry the water. Then attach the pole to a vertical pole perhaps one that collapses.

Thoughts on a workable system for a 12' roof?

Or wait for rain? :h

I use the brush on a water pole routine.
Finish with a squeegee on a pole made for washing home windows.
Also have used a large wet towel and push it around with a pole.

I like your idea. That's essentially what I do (after I climb up and notice the dirt, dust, bird droppings, etc). The longer it sits the harder it is to remove. I occasionally use some kind of cleanser too.

If its just a rinse you need this should do. I use one at home on the gutters each year.
