1. ON/OFF main power button
2. AUTO/GAS mode selector button
A. AUTO mode indicator lamp
B. CHECK indicator lamp
(GAS mode only)

I have a side by side (double fridge) left side works great......right side has the check indicator light is lit up when I have it set to auto and that side doesn’t cool at all!
If I’m understanding correctly the check indicator light should only be illuminated if I’m in gas mode......am I missing something?

OK so you have 2 fridges........one has NOTHING to do with the other
One workign on 120VAC
One NOT working on 120VAC

As mentioned...verify you have 120V at the outlet fridge is plugged into
YES...then need to check the 5A Fuse (1/4" Glass Fuse) ---verify it has AC both sides (or continuity thru it) Not just visually look
Could be good fuse but loose/bad fuse clips

If blown...then electric element is probably shorted
Is it time for your medication or mine?

1. When on AUTO, IF at any time the refer loses the 120 input, the refer will try to light on LP. IF there is NO LP or a malfunction lighting on LP the CHECK light comes on to let you know that the refer will not operate in LP mode if required. That is the ONLY function of the check light
2. It will stay ON until you turn the refer OFF and put it back on AUTO.
3. You have a malfunction of the 120 Heating system on the malfunctioning refer. Odds are it is a Bad Heating element, IF you turn the refer OFF and restart and the Check Light does NOT come on
4. If you restart and the Check light comes on when on Auto, that means you have NO 120 volts to the refer or the 120 element Fuse on the rear control board is blown. Access the rear of the refer and plug a hair dryer or any 120 appliance into the 120 receptacle behind the refer to verify you have 120 power to the receptacle. Doug

Old-biscuit, Boon Docker is correct. I have 2 fridges side by side and 2 freezers above them. The left side fridge and freezer work just fine on auto and the right side is flashing the check light even tho I do not have the gas button clicked. I do not have propane hooked up at all to the camper. I’m not sure why only 1 side is trying to swap go gas and failing and the other side isn’t trying to switch over. Pardon my ignorance haha but if the 120VAC isn’t being Sensed what would I do to fix that?

Sounds like he has two RM2852 fridges side by side.

Not following your issue......side by side/both set to auto?

RM2852 is a 2 door fridge
Upper door///freezer
Lower door///food compartment
Only ONE control/display panel

CHECK LIGHT.....
that is a FAULT Light indicating fridge tried to swap to gas and gas FAILED to ignite/PROVE flame lit.
Turn fridge OFF then back ON to reset

If it trying to swap to Gas in AUTO then 120VAC is not being sensed...hence the swap to gas
Gas not igniting/proving (Check Light) then propane flow may not have fulled established (lack of gas usage) or bad ignitor/burner
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Yeah that’s where I’m confused because I have both sides set to auto but the right hand side check light is on even though I do not have it set to gas

On my single door 2852 there is NO light during gas operation. The check light would come on indicating there's no propane supply.

In auto mode with electric available the Auto light is on. The check light is never on.
