External propane tank

is it possible to add an external tank (100lb + ) into existing line? We have an onboard 40/50. Does it go on appliance side of existing regulator? Are settled in for winter and propane delivery is sporatic.

Just be aware that the Extend-A-Stay contains at least 2 flow limiters. If you have problems when multiple gas appliances are trying to run, that could be the problem. It wouldn't work on my current and former Buses when both heaters were trying to run. I just substituted brass fittings and a gas valve.

YES......on your Motorhome you install an 'Extend-A-Stay' or 'Stay-Awhile' Kit between LP TANK Service/Vapor Valve and Main LP Regulator

Then you can get 100# Propane CYLINDER connected to the Kit

Valve out the MH LP TANK Service valve...valve in the 100# Cylinder
And it will supply your MH LP Propane System via your MH Main LP Regulator

Connects to the cylinder side of the regulator. Otherwise you would need a second regulator.

Sure. Most providers will deliver the tank, hook it up for you and fill it. They hook up before the regulator between your installed tank and the regulator. Then you order the tank, be sure to tell the propane folks the approximate distance from where the new tank will go to the hook up area. They'll need that so they bring the right length flex line.

A lot of private park rent large propane tanks for long term stays. They even hook them up for you.
