The female spline on the cover lift motor is stripped so that the cover doesn't go up. Looks like a new motor is needed. Any suggestions for warranty, best price etc?

So far they are covering my fan and replacements at 10 years out but are starting to balk. That's fine, everyone needs to make a living

2 years ago, the gear on my Fantastic Fan stripped. I was way beyond warranty and I called their number. Pleasant person on the other end, got a new setup in 3 days. Kinda expensive, but....
I vote for great customer service.

I didn't like the way ours operated. I think the problem was actually caused by turning the battery off between trips. Dropped the cover, unplugged the motor, taped the bare connector. Then put two 5/16" lock washers (not for locking, just as spacers) under the knob. Tightened the knob screw. The vent and I get along much better now.

Check your warranty - if it's expired they will do nothing.
They used to have great service but after they were bought out they went down to toilet. Their product quality has suffered as well.

Call Fan-tastic Vent. They have had great customer in the past. And I would guess they still do.
