Fuel/gas/propane lines hanging/drooping on my rv?

I have a few of the rubber gas/fuel lines hanging down on the underbelly of the rv. None of which are for an outdoor BBQ.

Everyone that I encounter says to zip-tie or pin them back up but what do I screw into?

I don't have an issue with zip-tying, banding and tacking back up...my concerns are:
- where do I screw into? I know I need to avoid using a longer screw that is needed.
- avoid the path of the slide outs
- and the cursed....too long of a screw going through to the floor :eek

Where is the best place to screw into the underbelly? into wood? metal frame with sheetmetal screw?

Also, there appears to be many spots under the RV on the underbelly where there are pre-drilled holes in the underbelly where it looks like they should have put in a screw to fasten the underbelly but didn't....did they just get lazy? Are there just more holes then there are actually needed? Do they simply pre-drill holes throughout the entire underbelly now knowing which TT model it will be attached to and have more holes then needed?

Don't push the foam up inside--it will break loose and will no longer seal. If you don't like the appearance, cut off the protruding part with a sharp knife.

the latter....drooping with 6 inches at the apex from the underbelly...still a good 8-10 inches from the road.

Let me take pics and post them here....this way the people that can advise will advise but now holding back because there are so many unknowns ...please stay tuned

JMO but I would take it back and at least make the dealer aware of the problem. That way if you have issues further down the line you've at least let the dealer know there was a problem from the beginning. Honestly you shouldn't have rubber lines hanging down.

Nah not necessary. I am sure they all of this is under the Jayco guidelines of normal and acceptable. This is my type "a" personality sprinkled with a little OCD that's causing me to take up oncern with these little things.

Plus I love to fix stuff and an RV is one big toy 🙂

2018 Jayco needs to go back to dealer and have them figure out what to do!!! If problems arise they will be on the hook!
