Well, this is a long time coming - a Bluetooth app for an all new EU2200i generator

The 2021 EU2200i with Bluetooth

These appear to be new within the last few weeks, all the stores I checked near me are still selling old inventory.

Yawn ... What Honda needs is a something to compete against the Westinghouse iGen 2500 !

Knock a few pounds off of the EG2800i and put it in more "friendly" housing.

Some day, portable generator manufactures will realize that an external tank quick connect is a highly desired feature !

At 10:58 in the OP's video, eco is switched on from the app. (edit: this is incorrect, he switched eco manually and the app just reported the change). With being able to shut down the generator and change eco from the app, it does seem to me there are more things to break. For instance, a fault in the remote control system could make the generator inoperable.

I don't recall the bluetooth breaking on anything.

I have to keep reminding myself I can turn on my household oven with my phone.

I wonder why they didn’t make the ECO switchable from the app. That would be nice if you want to turn it off from inside an RV before hitting it with a large load. I can see the Bluetooth as more useful on an electric start model though.

I'm not a get-off-my-lawn guy, so I like that stuff. I bought too early.

Well, do you really need to know all that info, just something else to go wrong. An oil/hour meter would suffice.

Another price increase?

I couldn't care less about the Bluetooth, but the CO monitor, if it shuts down the generator, would be useful for idiots who run generators inside their homes or garages.
