Just p/u up a"new to me" 2011 Cougar 291 High Country.

After setting up I noticed the "Flood" and the 2 leds for hitch connection ( buy the mirror ) are on.

I don't remember turning them on and the IS a switch inside the unit on the light panel and it is turned off.

Could this be controled by the remote ?

Thanks

I'll NEVER be an "EXPERT" (In math.X is an unknown factor and a "SPURT" is just a drip - under pressure)

Thanks for your replies - I found the remote would control them and problem solved.
I tried all I could for the "Patio" light - finally popped the lens - guess what - NO BULB - no wonder it would not turn on.

Other than that - I really like this coach.

On our Cougar High Country the front LED's and side flood light are controled by both the inside switch and the remote You can turn them on and off with the remote if the switch inside is in the "OFF" position. If the inside switch is in the "ON" position the lights will stay on and I can not control them with the remote.

BTW: ours is a 2013 329TSB

We had a different model cougar and the docking or hitching lights were controlled by the remote. Ours would not turn off for some reason. The lights were not controlled by the battery disconnect so we had to disconnect the battery cable for a minute to shut them off. We used them so rarely we never figured out what the problem was.
