LP gas supply issues.

So I am having some very annoying issues going on with my 2012 Keystone cougar fiver. It all started this ummer nearing the end of our camping trip. I noticed that when the furnace would kick in that the switch over regulator would whistle/whine an annoying sound. This I was told was normal but yet it hadn't done it up to this point. When I got home I removed the tanks and one was empty and the other half full. I thought I'd get them filled as we were going on another trip soon. When I reinstalled them they were acting up. I could not get gas supply to stay on. I would turn a burner on,light it and it would go. Turn another and it would drop the others output, and another and they woul run for about the count to 10 and all die off.If I waited a bit then turned the lines on they would be pressured up enough to do this again. I tried all types of methods like turning the tank on very slowly, switching tanks, around, trying different propane bottles with no success. I then got another switch over regulator and installed it in the place of the old one. To my dissapointment it is still doing the same thing. We were on a camping trip this past weekend and the flow is minimal but enough to keep the fridge going as well as the hot water heater. But as soon as i demand higher output from the stove or outside kitchen it cuts right off.

Is there anyone that has had similar issues that may be able to help me out with some tests to try. I was told that Co-Op propane has led to issues on others trailers with there being oils or something in the propane? I did try other bottles from other vendors with no luck. Could this be a result of partially plugged lines?

Cheers

Ok I will try that. I have tried a bottle on both sides with no luck so that would mean both pig tails. I had thought of them as they have check valves but thought the chances of them both to be hooped was slim. I should be able to try changing one and turning the selector to that pig tail and bottle and have the other one sitting with nothing on it hey?

The hoses from regulator to cylinders have flow valves that can become problematic.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

I did change the dual changeover regulator. That did not help my issue unfortunately. Anything else?

The regulator and / or change over valves have something in them. Causing the low pressure and the whistle.

Why not just change out the dual by-pass regulator?. Since it seems not to be the tanks?
