I gotta try it.

(4) 33 volt LED chips in series.

(1) 5 amp 1KV rectifier in series for a guarantee

(1) 100uf 450 volt electrolytic cap connected inside the rectifier circuit.

Plugger into a wall socket.

I shall wear a safety shield mask and gloves....

Just Kidding!

I am going to power the device under test with a momentary 25 ampere AC rated foot switch. Deadman's Switch?

Celso is looking for it.

Thank goodness LED's have minimum current inrush (I hope).

Were they real, or bolt ons? Inquiring minds want to know, for technical purposes. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think MEX got a deal on the high voltage panels.. Of course a DC/DC converter is a possibility too, and I suspect MEX could build one out of spare parts.

I looked up past the waning super moon, tonight, and saw some sparks flying. Thought it might be the Mex testing effects but realized we're in the midst of the Perseid Meteor Shower.

Mex, is this the indoor light solution you're testing? One thing keeps nagging at me----why was it not possible to get a 12V friendly LED chip? That should reduce the component count and complexity, correct?

Getting my foot operated pedal switch back from Celso. 30 amp rated. Don't want the transformer jumping off the pole in flames or anything...
