Need help choosing generator(s)

Jayco 32BHDS Jay Flight with 15k AC / 2nd AC with 50A service

can you please tell me what I need to be fully self sufficient?

Considering (2) Honda/B&S 3000 units or Q6500/EU7000iS

What are my best options? pros? cons?

supergen extended run system

round thing in the middle with hoses is the vacuum operated fuel pump
mounted with rubber strap to protect from engine vibration

there is nipple mounted top rear of generator for connecting the aux tank,

my generator is on slide/tray in forward compartment
to use aux tank i have to set it on a table level with generator
so i have only used it a couple of times
would work great with generator on the ground or in the bed of a PU truck, doesn't have the fuel lift to work consistently with MY SETUP with tank on ground and genny above it on the slide
works well when both items are same level

the Yellow Hose is the 'oil drain' for changing oil
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

In short, yes.

The neutral wire "seems" to be too small, right?

But when one phase is maxxing amperage, the other phase isn't.

200 x 200 is 40,000 va. Not watts but it is equal to one large generator. Say 40 Kw prime power.

There is no Supergen.com. There is a SupergenProducts.com, but I can't find an extended run kit. Could you post a link? Thanks.

Check with Supergen.com , they have an extended run system for the champion, with a pump operated from engine vacuum
It does not have a lot of lift
Generator and extended tank need to be nearly level
Both on ground, truck bed, etc..
But it's not gravity feed, no special cap
Uses an add-on nipple for connecting the external tank fuel line

Don't know how well that works with t the multi fuel system

Going to go with two Champion 3500 with the parallel kit with 50A receptacle.

I want to build a DIY extended run fuel system. I understand that it would be gravity fed and that careful attention would need to be paid when removing the fuel cap from the generator as the extended run system would keep the generators tanks full to the top.

My question is where can I find the extended run gas cap for the Champion 3500?

PS For those interested HD has the pull start 3400 on sale for 799. Good deal if you don't want the wireless remote start

Great all but the weight and run time. So if you are going to mount it somewhere and can get more gas to it, it would work.

When I looked for my generators my criteria was;
#1 MUST be the quietest out there
Run the amps I need when I need it
Be able to load in my PU by myself

So I looked at the dB's
The weight

I ended up with (2) Honda 2000's. Nobody beats their dB ratings that I found.
I went with (2) so I could lift them and I only run 1 unless I want the AC then I power up the other.

Hi,

The first services for homes were about 30 amps twin 15 amp circuits.

That over time became 60 amps, then 100 amps.

Finally, with our appetite for power, a 200 amp panel became standard.

You could, in theory, still use a 200 amp panel on a 30 amp service.

IIRC 200 amp refers to the main breaker size. It needs to be fed from the power source with the appropriate size wire. I think it is 200 amps per leg or 24000 watts per leg.

1-8-GENERATOR Champion dealer in Ca. My remote start 3400 Gen.inverter, Propane , natural gas or gasoline, Mine will be here today. Great people, The remote start does not come with all three fuel options, but for $145 they put the 3 way fuel kit on foor me. I only have a 30 amp service with one A/C so one should be fine for me.
