I have a 2008 Komfort TT with an LP only water heater with automatic spark ignition. It was working just fine, then all of a sudden it would not light. Only cold water from the tap. There is gas, but no voltage at the on switch. We are on shore power. Other 12 volt things work (lights, range hood) but not the water heater. There is no fuse in the control center labeled โwater heater.โ Any help for hunting down the problem would be appreciated. Thanks!
2003 Komfort 5er had Suburban WH Had to replace that red light switch. ISTR it's wires went to a small white box with ? fuse? then wires to WH. Was a reset on the WH outside too

Before getting to the circuit board, the brown power wires passes through a thermal cutoff and the thermostat. The thermal cutout is located behind a piece of tubing adjacent to the thermostat. This is on an Atwood!
Start by checking to see if you have voltage at the brown wire if it is an Attwood where it comes into the WH and let us know if you see voltage. The next thing I would do is remove the wires from the switch and connect them together and see if you have voltage.
No power to the switch? How did you determine that? 1: Switch has a light that should come on and does not (Burned out bulb) 2: Used a volt meter and measured power at the switch.
And as someone else said... What brand they are wired differently.
