Praise for TST TPMS

I recently ordered a 507 Internal TPMS from Truck System Technologies. This wouldn't work because I decided to use internal valve extenders from Tire Man (they're also great, BTW). So I exchanged the 507 internal for the six-tire external product.
First, the product: works great, like the pressure ANDtemperature readout, and just gives me added peace of mind on the tires (of course, I also check manually}. I have them on my 31' class C so there was no need for a repeater, etc.
Second, the customer service: I spoke with Beverley, who handled the original order, exchange and credit efficiently. She was knowledgeable about the products and very friendly. It was a pleasure to do business with her, and I feel she really cared about me.

Ya think?

I just mostly shut up now and enjoy the knowledge I can pick up here from people way smarter than I am.

Not sure I agree with this statement.

Thank you for keeping an open mind, at least. I hope others will do the same.

I honestly do not know why that person threw such a wobbler.

Because of the rather unskilled way the poster quoted some (at least 3, not 2) of my posts, it's hard to tell where my quotes end and her rants interject.

But it's easy to see that it really is some sort of personal attack; the kind that supposedly is not allowed here. (I guess the moderation of such things depends on who is being attacked.)

I should be flattered, I suppose, that someone pays so much attention to what I have to say about safety equipment.

But since three out of the (whopping) four posts in total that the poster made were directed either to or AT me, it just seems stalkerish.

One thing I have discovered. If you search posts by a posters name the results does not separate what that poster has said from others in the summary.

You have to go to the original posting.

This results in assuming what others have said as coming from what was said by the poster you searched on.

I have been reading multiple posts from GM&JM. I have highlighted 2 independent posts from this member. If you read between the lines,he professes to own a Pressure Pro, and he reaches out to Minder for text support. Apparently, GM&JM are system dealers, or spinners. After reading many of their posts they claim to own at least 3 systems... WOW While accosting legitimate members and system owners.

I find GM&JM's posts to be slanderous, bias, an unreliable.

The owner Dan Covington is a person of true character. I do not care how"Nice" the owner at Minder is. The owner of TST took control of this company from a prior owner who did not deliver merchandise.

Mr Covington, at his own personal expense, provided my system when TST opened it's doors 8 years ago.

Some value kindness others value character. I will take character ANY DAY.

For the record, my TST System alerted when my tire began over heating. I pulled over safely to discover my treads were starting to separate on my steer tire.

TST could have literally saved my wife's and my life.

THANK YOU TST FROM A MORE THAN SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

Someone told me about your post since I wasn't monitoring this thread anymore.
"slanderous, bias, an unreliable"? Just...wow!

Full disclosure here:

We are not a vendors (or "spinners") for any TPMS product. Perhaps you are confusing me with another poster who IS a vendor/reseller for TST and sells them openly on some forums and privately on others.

We own TST monitors (3) and sensors (16) and a repeater booster.

I haven't said I own a Pressure Pro system, although I am looking into one.

We don't own a TireMinder, but if CampingWorld sends me one, I'll sure test it out for them. (*hint*hint*)

I reached out to MinderResearch because I've met the owners and felt that they'd give me a straight and honest answer to the question of sensor loss not showing up on TPMS monitors for up to an hour even though the monitor reads like everything is fine.

I had talked to Mike Benson of TST about the same thing before calling MinderResearch.

You've come to some very wrong conclusions by reading between some imaginary lines. Thank you for the opportunity to set the record straight.

I'm glad you like your TPMS, but you're making this way too personal - and that needs to stop now.

We bought our first set of TSTs to use on our 24' ViewFinder. We did get dropped signals, but didn't realize then what they meant (that the signal had actually been gone for an hour before we got an alarm.)

Whether or not you'll "need" a repeater/booster depends on lots of things things like how far will your farthest sensor be from your monitor and how much electronics gear (gps, wireless fridge thermometer and the like) you have around.

Interference can come from alot of sources....even those systems that control the traffic lights for emergency vehicles, I was told by a TPMS maker. (Not TST).

Better to have it and use it, even if you don't need it....rather than find out you needed one and didn't have it, IMO.

TireMinder puts a repeater/booster in every set they sell. TST sells them as an add-on. Don't know how much price difference there is.

(For information only. Not an Advert)

I would really like to hear from someone who does use a current model Pressure Pro.

Well that was a little ornery! All though I haven't used my pressure pro for several years now.

I have had my TST 507 system for a bit over 4 years now and I drive down the road watching the road more and looking in the rear view mirrors a bit less. I was always looking back before expecting to see pieces of rubber and pieces of my trailer flying off. Much more relaxing travel now.

The owners are such nice people, too. If I had to do things over....

Same here, I moved the receiver up on the dash and no more dropped sensors. My TT is 35ft btw.
